Where Can I Download the LabVIEW DSC Run-Time System?

Issue Details

• I recently purchased or otherwise need access to the LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control (DSC) Run-Time System in order to run a standalone DSC executable on a deployment machine. Where can I download the installation media?
• A download page for the LabVIEW DSC Run-Time System installation media seems to be missing from the NI website. Why can I not seem to find it?

Solution

You can find the download link for LabVIEW DSC Run-Time System and Development System on the common LabVIEW DSC Download Page . You will need to select the year of LabVIEW DSC you want to download as well as the Included Edition of Runtime. 

Online downloads of the LabVIEW DSC Run-Time System is only available for versions 2017 and newer.  If you need a version of the LabVIEW DSC Run-time System before 2017, please reach out to NI Support at https://www.ni.com/en/contact-us.html to request the desired installer.

Additional Information

If you already have the LabVIEW DSC Run-Time System installed, but need to install a newer version, you can upgrade the software through the NI Update Service application that can be accessed from the Start menu.

The LabVIEW DSC Run-Time System is only needed for deployment computers , and is a separately licensed product from the LabVIEW DSC Module, which is for development computers.
