Issue Details

I have a PXI Vector Signal Analyzer PXI-5661, which contains an RF Down-converter  (PXI-5600) and a Digitizer (PXI-5142). I have installed the latest version RFSA and NI-SCOPE driver, but it is recognized as "NI PXI-5600" in NI-MAX, and shows a yellow triangle warning, with added information "Not Configured", as shown in image below, what's wrong and how should I do to remove the warning?

Solution

You can simply solve this warning by choosing the digitizer in the Associated Devices tab. By clicking the Digitizer drop-down list, you can choose "NI PXI-5142: "PXI1Slot6_2" is this case, then click Save. As shown in the image below.

Then you will see the yellow triangle warning disappears, and the device has automatically been correctly recognized as NI PXI-5661.

Additional Information

The reason behind this warning is because PXI-5661 consists of two individual devices, ie, PXI-5660 and PXI-5142. Both of which have been recognized in NI-MAX, but you have to manually associate the PXI-5142 to the PXI-5142.
The same situation may happen to Vector Signal Generators such as PXI-5671.
