我尝试将旧的VLM配置设置导入到新服务器上，但出现以下错误：

The backup file was created from another installation of NI VLM. You cannot restore from this backup file. If you are moving NI VLM to a new server, refer to the Moving to Another Server topic in NI VLM help.

解决方案

若要转移至新服务器上，并且要导入之前服务器的配置设置，则需要通过NI VLM Getting Started Wizard 来导入设置。

为了启动 Getting Started Wizard，您需要通过以下方法来重置NI VLM。

打开 C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\Volume License Manager 并删除以下文件：
  • nilm.opt
  • nivlm.dat
  • nivlm.lic



删除这些文件后，关闭并重新打开NI VLM，则应启动 Getting Started Wizard，从而可以设置新服务器并导入配置设置。
