Solution

Try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the Windows error in NI MAX.
  1. Reset the NI MAX Database. Make sure to export the System Configuration settings in NI MAX before resetting the database.
  2. Update NI MAX by installing the latest NI-DAQmx driver compatible with your device and LabVIEW versions.
    1. If the latest version of NI-DAQmx is already installed, force reinstall NI-DAQmx to reinstall the NI MAX software.

If you are using a frame grabber or camera that is in SDI format, then you will not be able to connect to the device in NI MAX. This is because National Instruments does not have image acquisition products that support SDI.
