Issue Details

I will be using this driver and would like to have an API manual that shows what each function does and needs.

Solution

For the EtherNet/IP Driver, there is no PDF or article with the functionality listed out. However, once the driver is downloaded, LabVIEW populates NI-Industrial Communications for Ethernet/IP... in the Help drop down.
 

Once you click on NI-Industrial Communications for Ethernet/IP..., a pop-up shows up that gives you access to the different functions and information about them.

You can refer to the NI-Industrial Communications for Ethernet/IP shipping example in the following directory.

C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW <version>\examples\ethernetip

Or you can access the shipping example from NI Example Finder and navigate to Hardware Input and Output >> NI-Industrial Communications >> EtherNet/IP >> EtherNetIP Adapter.lvproj
