Solution
The maximum voltage ranges of NI's Multifunction DAQ boards are as follows:
- NI 63xx X Series: ± 10 V (all).
- NI 62xx M Series: ± 10 V (all).
- NI 60xxE E Series: ± 10 V (all).
- B Series: ± 20 V1 (USB-6008, 6009), ± 10 V (6000, 6001, 6002, 6013, 6014), ± 5 V (6010).
- S Series: ± 42 V (6110/61112, 6115/61203), ± 10 V (6122, 6123, 6124, 6132, 6133, 6154), ± 5 V (6143).
1 For the USB-6008/6009, ±20 V means that |(AI+) – (AI–)| ≤ 20 V. However, AI+ and AI– must both be within ±10 V of GND. Thus, this range is only valid for differential mode. For single-ended measurements, ±10 V is the maximum input voltage range.
2 For the PCI-6110/6111, ±42 V means that |(AI+) – (AI–)| ≤ 42 V. However, AI– must be within ±11 V of GND.
3 For the PCI-6115/6120, ±42 V means that |(AI+) – (AI–)| ≤ 42 V. However, AI– must be within ±2.5 V of GND.
