Purchased LabVIEW or Other NI Software but Don't See a Serial Number in My Order Email

Issue Details

I just purchased LabVIEW Development System or other NI software, but do not see a serial number in my email confirmation. Where is the serial number? I want to activate and run my software now.

Solution

National Instruments software serial numbers are generated when the product is shipped. Depending on your order, it may take a few days for this to occur. You should receive an email with the serial number as soon as it is available.

In the meantime, you should be able to download and run LabVIEW or other NI software in evaluation mode until the serial number is available. You can also try to access an extended evaluation, if the standard evaluation period is approaching its end. 

If your serial number was not sent when your order shipped or if you no longer have access to an extended evaluation, please contact National Instruments Support.
