Issue Details

I have developed an application using the ECU Measurement and Calibration Toolkit (ECUMC). I am building executables and deploying to other machines. Do I need a runtime engine on the deployment computers?

Solution

Toolkit Version 15.0 and Later:

ECU Measurement and Calibration Runtimes are required for applications developed with this toolkit and are available for download. A license is not required to install and use this runtime. 

Toolkit Version 14.0 and Ealier:

ECU Measurement and Calibration Toolkit must be installed on every machine to which an application is deployed. This requires an active license for the toolkit. A standalone runtime does not exist for these versions. 

Additional Information

A license for the ECU Measurement and Calibration Toolkit includes access to current and previous versions.
