My PXI Chassis is not showing up in NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (NI-MAX), I'm using an MXI PCIe card 8398. I have changed to a different slot, and the device is recognized on the Windows Device Manager, all NI Services are running, I have updated the BIOS and downloaded all the newest drivers, and the LED status on both cards are solid amber.
I have tried with a different computer with the same result and have tried the MXI Compatibility And Connectivity Troubleshooting Guide.
When you connect the MXI-Express cables, each end can be connected to either card, but make the connectors are not plugged into the card inverted. The connectors will physically fit, but the electrical connections will not match. Furthermore, if you connect the cables with the connectors inverted, the card could be damaged.
