I would like to know what the Simple Text Report plugin in NI TestStand is used for, and how I can install it. 

Solution

The Simple Text Report plugin can be used to generate text reports. In short, it is a report format for TestStand Sequences. It may be implemented using LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, or Microsoft Visual C#.  One example of how a report could look like is seen below:
