Issue Details

I have an NI 9219 and am trying to use it with a cRIO. The cRIO is set to scan interface mode and I am trying to programmatically configure the excitation voltage for my external sensor. How can I configure this?

Solution

The excitation voltage level for the NI-9219 is not software-selectable. Instead, you will need to configure the measurement settings for the device using a property node as described in Programmatically Setting Module I/O Properties Using CompactRIO Scan Mode. Below is an example of how this can be set up for a 4 wire resistance measurement with a 10kΩ resistor.

Additional Information

For more information on the available measurement modes for your NI 9219, refer to the NI-9219 Specifications .
