Issue Details

I'm planning to use an Ethernet or USB cDAQ in Linux. Are there any drivers, like NI-DAQmx Base, that allow the use of the cDAQ chassis in Linux?

Solution

NI-DAQmx Base does not provide support for Ethernet or USB cDAQ chassis in the Linux platform.

Additional Information

There is no NI MAX (Measurement and Automation Explorer) for Linux and NI-DAQmx cannot work with a CompactDAQ chassis if the chassis cannot be configured. Nevertheless, you can use other PCI and USB alternatives. For a list of compatible devices please check the readme file that ships with the DAQmx driver.
