How To Resolve Error -61046 In LabVIEW

Issue Details

I am using a FlexRIO device as well as an adaptor module but when trying to program my device in LabVIEW I get error -61046:
 

​The IO Module is disabled. No adapter module is currently inserted

How can I resolve this?

Solution

To resolve this error ensure your hardware connection between the FlexRIO device and the module adaptor is secure.

Additional Information

This is a hardware error caused when the connection between the FlexRIO device and the module is not secure. To check if your module is detectable you can check the device and module status in NI MAX.

If you are certain that the connection between the device and the module is secure but you still cannot detect your device in NI MAX, then there might be a malfunction with your adaptor device. Please contact NI technical support for assistance.
