Error -200324 While Acquiring or Generating a Signal with NI-DAQmx

Issue Details

I have some NI DAQ devices connected to the computer but when I try to generate or acquire a signal from LabVIEW, I get the following error:

NIDAQmx Error -200324:

NI-DAQmx is unable to communicate with the device. Make sure the device is present in and accessible to the system, and is not currently being reset.

In Measurement and Automation Explorer (NI MAX) the devices appear with an X Mark or duplicated as follows:

Try the following troubleshooting steps:

• Verify compatibility between NI-DAQmx and Windows . Also, verify in the NI-DAQmx readme file that the installed version of the drivers supports your devices.
• Reset the NI MAX database.
• If possible, install a newer version of NI-DAQmx compatible with your system (OS and hardware). If you are running the last version compatible, force reinstall this version.
• If seeing this error message in the application, ensure that the name of the device being called is the same as the device name listed in MAX.
