Cannot Connect to Database Using LabVIEW Database Connectivity Toolkit

Issue Details

I can't connect to my database server in LabVIEW using the Database Connectivity Toolkit. How can I resolve this?

Solution

  1. Check Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administrator to verify that you can see a connection to your database. 
  2. Verify that the ODC connection is configured in the 32 bit data source. LabVIEW Database Connectivity Toolkit only supports the 32 bit version. 
  3. Try using a shipping example to establish the connection in LabVIEW. For example, you can try using the example called Database Connection VI.
