Badge Assessments Do Not Start When Using Safari Web Browser

Issue Details

I am trying to complete a badge assessment on ni.com/badges and when I select the asessment, it does not start. Even if I am already logged in, fields for Name, ID and Email are displayed constantly as shown in Figure 1 and the assessment does not start. If I log out and log in again the problem persists. This only happens with Safari web browser on MAC computers. Is there any way to fix this?

Solution

This happens due to privacy settings in your Safari web browser. Follow the steps below to modify the privacy settings that block the badge assessment in Safari:
  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Privacy
  3. Turn off "Prevent cross-site tracking"
