DAQ Module Missing in DAQ Assistant

Issue Details

When I try to use the DAQ Assistant and choose the desired measurement type, I do not see my DAQ module. Why is this occurring?

Solution

There are a couple of possible reasons for this occurring:

Check if the device shows up properly in Measurement & Automation Explorer.
Ensure that you are using a supported measurement type for your hardware. Hardware that does not support the selected measurement type will not appear for that task in the DAQ Assistant.

Additional Information

As an example, if you are using a Current Input Module but want to measure Pressure, you will not be able to select a Pressure task with this module. You can measure Current and use Custom Scales to work directly with the scaled units of your device.
