Issue Details

I am trying to use LabVIEW with Windows Server 2016. However, I am running into issues storing the files onto the server. Does LabVIEW support Windows Server 2016?

Solution

Window Server 2016 support was included in LabVIEW 2020 and other versions of LabVIEW. You can generally check the compatibility between LabVIEW and the OS by going to the download page and checking the Release Notes. If there are no notes for any specific LabVIEW version, check the Supported OS tab or any of the following links:

Additional Information

Note: Starting with 2024 Q4 software releases, NI software and drivers will drop support for Microsoft Windows Server 2016. NI recommends that customers migrate to Windows Server 2019 or 2022.
