SCB-68A Analog Input Voltage Limitation

Hardware

  • SCB-68A
  • PCIe-6320

Issue Details

I am using SCB-68A connected to PCIe-6320. What is the Analog Input Voltage Limitations?

Solution

The SCB-68A input maximum voltage is 30 Vrms/42 Vpk/60 VDC.

It is not designed for any input voltages greater than30 Vrms/42 Vpk/60 VDC, even if a user-installed voltage divider reduces the voltage to within the input range of the DAQ device.
Input voltages greater than 30 Vrms/42 Vpk/60 VDC can damage the SCB-68A, all devices connected to it, and the host computer.

Additional Information

When using PCIe-6320, Analog Input range is ±0.2 V, ±1 V, ±5 V, ±10 V
