Issue Details

I'm trying to work with 2 NI 9234 modules in my cRIO 9036, but my second module is not showing correct data, just noisy signals.

I modified the shipping example for the real-time VI to match the specific configuration on my cRIO for one modules and everything works fine. Next, I tried to expand to 2 modules by copying and pasting the same code and configuring it to a different sampling rate than my first module and that has not worked.  The second module isn’t getting the data correctly.

Solution

You can certainly copy the code to include the functions needed for the second module but you will need to set the read/write control configuration for both modules individually.

In addition, we recommend making two separate loops for each modules if you are to sample at two different rates so they do not limit the execution speed of the while loops.
