Issue Details

A client computer cannot activate a specific NI software even though he can correctly activate other NI software. The server uses FLEXnet Publisher to manage volume licensing.

Solution

Make sure the options file for FLEXnet Publisher is correctly configured to include the user/host and the specified licenses. Consult the following document to learn how to create and configure an options file for FLEXnet Publisher.

Additional Information

Make sure the options file is on the same directory as the vendor daemon (nilm.exe) so that FLEXnet Publisher reads and grants the correct permissions to users and/or hosts.
