Software Licenses to Run LabVIEW Real-Time Application on cRIO

Issue Details

I would like to run a built LabVIEW Real-Time application/executable on a CompactRIO (cRIO). Do I need to purchase any additional NI software to do this?

Solution

To run an executable on the cRIO, you will just need the NI LabVIEW Real-Time Deployment License which is already included in the following NI Real-Time Targets 

  • CompactRIO Real-Time
  • Compact FieldPoint (cFP) real-time controllers (Discontinued - no longer sold) 
  • NI Compact Vision Systems (CVS) (Discontinued - no longer sold) 
  • NI Smart Cameras (Discontinued - no longer sold) 
  • NI Embedded Vision Systems (EVS) (Discontinued - no longer sold) 
  • NI Industrial Controllers (IC) (Discontinued - no longer sold)
