Access Denied Error When Creating an IVI Driver

Issue Details

I updated LabVIEW and the IVI Compliance Package. After saving the IVI driver I created, I receive the following error: 

Solution

This error can occur when the user does not have the correct permissions to access the location. Sometimes when updating software, IT hasn't allowed or configured that update to interact with the system. Otherwise, the user may need to be an administrator to access that location.
  • Right-click the application you are trying to use and go to "Run as Administrator." Accept and follow through with the pop up requests. Once the application has opened, go through the steps to save the IVI driver.
  • If you are unable to run as administrator, contact IT for your options on accessing that location.
