  • When I conected the PCI to the computer, it didn't recognize it.

Solution

The driver isn't working as expected because of compatibility. Before download any NI driver, read the 'readme.txt' file that is available in the driver download page. This driver document shows a list of supportted versions of LabVIEW. If you check that the newest version of a driver isn't supportted by your LabVIEW version, try to look for a old version of the driver.

Here is an example of a table of compatibily between drivers and LabVIEW versions:

Make sure to install a driver that is compatible with your LabVIEW version.

Additional Information

Beyond the relation of compatibility between an NI software and a driver, you must consider the Operational System and its version. The 'ReadMe' document also brings information about which OS are supportted by a driver.
