Missing Sound and Vibration Toolkit VIs in LabVIEW Palette

Issue Details

I have the Sound and Vibration Toolkit installed but I'm not able to find the Sound and Vibration palette in LabVIEW.

Solution

If you are in this situation is for one of the two following reasons:

  1. If you are upgrading LabVIEW from a previous version you must reinstall the toolkit after LabVIEW installation.
  2. If you have installed the toolkit after LabVIEW be sure that you are using an aligned version of the toolkit, e.g. if you have LabVIEW 2017 you must install the 2017 version of the toolkit.
  3. In NI Package Manager, check if LabVIEW Sound and Vibration Toolkit and NI Sound and Vibration Toolkit Support for LabVIEW are listed under Installed tab. If not, you may install them under Packages tab.
