Self-Paced Online Training Not Working Correctly

Issue Details

I'm having issues viewing the self-paced online training from NI. I can sign in and access the courses, but the modules freeze, or the audio/video doesn't seem to be working properly. How can I fix this?

Solution

NI Online Training courses are best utilized on systems meeting minimum requirements for best performance. Use the following guidelines:
 

Browser

We recommend you to try a different browser than the one you are currently using, for example:
  • Google Chrome (last two major versions)
  • Mozilla Firefox (latest two major versions) – Extended Support Release (ESR) versions not supported
  • Safari (current version) – Macintosh Only
  • Microsoft Edge (current patch level) – Windows Only


Operating System

  • Windows 7/8/10 or later
  • MAC OS X 10.10 or later


Screen Resolution

We recommend your screen resolution be set to 1,024 by 768 or higher to ensure that all course content is displayed.


Internet Connection

We recommend you use a broadband connection, such as ISDN, DSL, or cable modem when taking courses. The courses should still load on slower connections, but will take a considerably greater amount of time to start up and navigate.

Additional Information

If the error persist you could try the following troubleshooting steps:
  • Clear cache/cookies and restart the browser.
  • Try accesing the content from a different network than the one you are currently having the issue.
  • Try accesing the content from a different system.
