I have a Vision application where I intend to do Optical Character Recognition (OCR) using the Vision Development Module VIs or Vision Assistant, how can I create a character set file using the Vision OCR Training Tool to accomplish this?

Solution

The Vision OCR Training Tool includes a tutorial that demonstrates through an example how to create a character set file for OCR. To access this tutorial, open the Vision OCR Training Tool and click on the Help > Tutorial on the top menu, this will open the Vision OCR Training Tool help file, which includes many more topics regarding the use of this tool.
