Dynamic Link Library Initialization Routine Failed Gives Broken VIs

Issue Details

I am using LabVIEW and I have many native LabVIEW VIs that appear broken. I receive the following error:

Errors: Dynamic Link Library initialization routine failed. 
The library specified for this node cannot be found or cannot be loaded. Right-click the Call Library Function node and select Configure, then choose the correct library name or path.

How do I fix this?

Solution

This behavior usually occurs because of some sort of corruption within LabVIEW and can be resolved with a force reinstall of LabVIEW.
