Cannot Connect to Target When Using Unit Test Framework Toolkit

Issue Details

I am using the Unit Test Framework Toolkit on a cRIO device and getting the following message when running a Unit Test File: 

Cannot connect to the target. Please ensure that the VI Server setting is enabled and deployed to the target. Also, make sure that the port number is correct and that this machine is allowed to connect through VI Server.


To solve this issue, please activate the VI Server on cRIO:

1. In LabVIEW select the cRIO target where Unit test runs, select Propierties from the dialog box for the target.
2. Select VI Server from the Category list to display the VI Server page.
3. Place a checkmark in the TCP/IP checkbox to activate the VI Server.
4. Click the OK button to close the Options dialog box and save the changes.
