Issue Details

I am using PCIe 6343. Before writing an application I tested the device in NI MAX Test Panel. All analog inputs were working as expected. However, when I want to generate the signal via analog output I cannot see anythig on my osciloscope (there is not signal, just noise).

I am using terminal block CB-68LPR and SHC68-68-RDIO cable

Solution

Unexpected behaviour of your device is caused by improper cable you have chosen for your setup.

While using Multifunction DAQ devices model 63xx please make sure all of the accessories are compatible with your module. It is advised to use National Instruments cables in order to perform proper communication. You can find the list of recommended terminal blocks and cables for your module here.

Additional Information

If the hardware setup is proper, the easiest way to check the performance of analog output is to wire it with analog input of your module and use test panel in NI MAX for testing.
