Why Am I Getting Error -2507 When Opening a TDMS File?

Issue Details

I am working on a localized Windows system (using a non-Latin character language) and I create a TDMS file containing letters from a non-Latin alphabet on a Real-Time machine. When I attempt to open and read the TDMS file on Windows, I cannot read the data properly and I receive the error shown below:



TDMS files created on Real-Time targets with non-Latin letters corrupt the integrity of the file. To resolve this specific issue, navigate to Control Panel » Region and Language and select the Administrative tab. From here, click Change system locale... and select English, as seen in the image below:
