Issue Details

I have a PXI or PXIe controller and want to know when certain events occurred, such as a power shutdown or IP address change. Does my PXI keep an event log of this data?

Solution

No, PXI controllers do not log events like power shutdowns. However, it does log errors if you are running real-time. This error log file is created when the controller crashes, and can be useful for troubleshooting. For information on how to view the real-time error log, see the document Is There an Error Log File for My Real-Time Controller?
