Issue Details

I would like to know what limits the maximum frequency I can have for a signal I would like to use as input to my DAQ card or device.

Solution

The PFI inputs have physical limitations, which affect the maximum frequency that can be used as input for a DAQ card. If you would like to know which is the maximum frequency your card can have as input, refer to the card's datasheet. It should have a specification called "External base clock frequency" or "Max external source frequency", this specification corresponds to the limit for the PFI to take accurate measurements of the signal.
