Computer not Appearing in Distributed Systems Manager

Issue Details

I can't seem to find my computer or devices in the Distributed Systems Manager (DSM). What can I do?

Solution

Make sure your firewalls are disabled and then restart the system, your computer should appear. In order to reactive the firewalls, you will need to make sure the proper ports are open.
