Issue Details

I need the dimensional drawings for the rack mount kits of the NI PXIe-1085 Chassis, but I cannot find it for this specific chassis.

Solution

The rack mount kits for this chassis are universal kits that are also used for other 18-slot PXI/PXIe chassis in our hardware line. The dimensional drawings for these mount kits are located on the PXI-1045 Rack Mount Kit Dimensional Drawings Page.

Ultimately, each front and rear rack mount come in 2 flavors.
  1. Length: Regular or extended
  2. Bracket Type: L-shaped or extended
As described in the PXIe 18-Slot Chassis Rack Mount Installation Guide , the various configurations allow installation in a rack of varying depths, from 18.5 to 36 inches, or even recess the chassis 7-inches into the rack.
