Requesting Physical Media for NI Software Installation

Issue Details

For one of the below listed reasons, I would like to request/order the physical media (DVD or USB) for my NI software installation:

  • I have a license for NI software, such as NI Developer Suite or NI Software Platform Bundle. Normally, new installation media in the form of DVDs or USB drives are sent to me twice a year with the updated installers for all of my software. However, I have not received these recently.
  • I have not received our spring/fall update USB keys.
  • I would like to request physical media due to internet restrictions that prevent me from downloading software from NI's website.
  • I have lost the media for my software and I would like to be sent a new copy. 
  • I lost the installation disc and am unable to download my software on NI's website.
How do I order the physical media?

Solution

As of January, 2017, NI has moved to a digital delivery mechanism for installation media. All customers with a current Standard Service Program (SSP) contract for software benefits are encouraged to download the software that they need, including device drivers, from www.ni.com/downloads.

If you prefer to receive physical installation media for your software and have a current SSP contract, you can request it at no costListed below are the two options for how to order the media:
  • Request the physical media online at NI Software Media Options
  • If you have a single seat license, you can contact orders@ni.com to order the media. If you are the software admin of an Enterprise or Volume License Agreement, you can contact agreements@ni.comNote: Be prepared to provide the part number or serial number for your software package.

You can check to see if your SSP contract is still active by going to the NI SSP Renewal page and entering your software serial number.
