Why does National Instruments Citadel 5 Database Not Show In ODBC Administrator?

I am trying to select the National Instruments Citadel 5 Database from the ODBC Administrator applet but it is not appearing.  How do I install it or make sure I have the right driver for it?

Solution

This issue can appear if you are on a Windows 64-Bit machine.  It is not necessarily a driver or installation issue.  You will want to make sure you are running the correct version of odbcad32.exe by opening it from C:\Windows\SysWOW64.  Once you run it, follow the steps outlined here to add the database and start working.
