What is the Maximum Sampling Rate per Channel in my Module?

Issue Details

I want to buy module NI 9208. In technical specification I found an information that maximum sampling rate is 500S/s. Does it mean that on each channel I will be able to acquire signal with 500 Hz frequency?

Solution

In modules like NI 9208, that contains only one multiplexer and one ADC (Analog Digital Converter) the maximum sampling rate adresses to all of the channels at once. This means that you need to divide the maximum sampling rate by the number of channels in order to calculate the maximum per channel rate.
