Error: Insufficient Memory to Complete the Simulation in Multisim

Issue Details

If I run a complex simulation in Multisim, after a short period I receive the following error message: 
There is insufficient memory to complete the simulation.  Restart Multisim, then reduce the simulation time, increase the time step size or reduce the number of output variables, particularly expressions.


I can not change any of the recommended settings because it would change the outcome of my simulation. I noticed that Multisim is running out of memory. Is there a way to allocate more memory for Multisim?

Solution

No, there is no option for enabling more memory for Multisim because it is only a 32-bit process, it is limited in how much memory can be allocated to the process.
