Cannot See Parameters from VI in TestStand

Issue Details

I have made a simple VI that I want to call from TestStand. I do not see anything in my parameter table of the step settings.


If I do the same with an example VI from TestStand (pass/fail example) I do get error number and pass/fail etc. in my parameter table.

I thought everything from a VI is exported to TestStand by default. Is there anything I need to set up? 

Solution

VI settings are loaded into TestStand. However, in order for TestStand to read the input and output information for that VI, the VI's connector pane needs to be configured as explained in Building the Connector Pane.
