Issue Details

I am building a LabVIEW Installer using the 32-bit version of LabVIEW and when I try to add NI-VISA to my installer, the installer fails to build. The installer tries to add NI-VISA 64-bit instead of the 32-bit version.

Solution

This issue suggests there is a corruption in the software.
Reinstall LabVIEW to resolve this issue.

Additional Information

If you do not need to have the 64-bit version of NI-VISA installed, it is recommended to remove it.
IF multiple NI-VISAs are installed, a different version may be set as default. See the article: After Installing 3rd Party VISA Software NI VISA No Longer Works for steps on determining what the default version is, and for setting a new default version of NI-VISA.
