Issue Details

I am trying to load a DBC file into FlexLogger. However, FlexLogger crashed when I loaded the DBC file. The crash report stated:

Error Message:
NI-XNET: (Hex 0xBFF6322C) You are trying to use a database alias name that contains an invalid character (for example, a comma). (0xbff6322c)

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Solution

In this case, you can try:
  • Change the name of the file
  • Change the name of the database alias
  • Change the name to only English characters or numbers

Additional Information

This error often occurs in countries that mainly use multi-byte characters like: Korea, China, or Japan.
Make sure there aren't any local characters in the file name; if there are, delete them or replace them with English characters or numbers.
