Issue Details

I am deploying an application that uses the LabVIEW Report Generation Toolkit. Do I need to install a separate runtime engine for the toolkit, or is the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine sufficient?

Solution

No. When deploying an application that uses the LabVIEW Report Generation Toolkit, only the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine corresponding to the version of LabVIEW used to build the application is required. A separate Report Generation Toolkit Run-Time Engine is not required.

Additional Information

The LabVIEW Run-Time Engine contains all the runtime components needed for all the functionalities included in the LabVIEW Professional Development System, including the LabVIEW Report Generation Toolkit. This applies to deployed executables across LabVIEW versions supported by the toolkit; no additional Report Generation Toolkit specific runtime needs to be installed.
