Activated NI Software Shows Unregistered

Issue Details

When I activate my software, it shows as being successfully activated in NI License Manager. However, when I go to Help > About, it shows as unregistered. How can I register my software so that I can use my software?


Registering your products is not required to use your software although it is encouraged. Visit the article, What is the Difference Between Product Activation and Registration?​, to learn more about the differences in Activating versus Registering your products. If you have not registered your software and wish to do so follow the steps below. 
  1. Log in at 
  2. Navigate to MY ACCOUNT > My Products
  3. Type in your software's serial number
