All Information in NI MAX Disappears after Update

Issue Details

I recently updated some of my NI software. After that completed, Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) does not display any of my connected devices under the Devices and Interfaces list, or any of my installed software under the Software list. LEDs on my DAQ devices are not lighting up as if they are connected to a host PC.

Solution

The software update may have corrupted your MAX Database file. This can be reset through MAX by following the steps in How to Fix or Reset the NI MAX Database File.
