Soft Front Panel for NI PXIe-4463 and 4464

Issue Details

I recently acquired the PXIe-4463 and 4464 devices for a radio audio analyzer, and I'd like to do some initial out-of-the-box testing. What soft front panel would I need to use to do some quick measurements?

Solution

If the appropriate device driver for your operating system is already installed, which would be DAQmx for these cards, you may use the Test Panels in NI MAX to take these measurements.

Besides, you can use the NI DSA Soft Front Panel for testing DSA devices such as PXIe-4463 and PXIe-4464. 
The NI Dynamic Signal Analyzer (DSA) and NI Dynamic Signal Generator (DSG) are designed to let you quickly use NI DSA hardware. The DSG executable provides a graphical interface for configuring test signals, configuring NI-DAQmx analog output hardware, and generating these signals with smooth rampup, rampdown, and update behavior. The DSA executable provides a graphical interface for configuring NI-DAQmx analog input hardware and performing interactive, cursor-based inspection of time and spectral data.
