Uninstall and Reinstall NI DSC (Database and Supervisory Control) Module

Issue Details

I keep getting an error saying: Cannot Connect to NI OPC Server after Running the Application as a Service. I have tried the steps given in Cannot Connect to NI OPC Server after Running the Application as a Service. Yet, the error still persists.

Solution

To overcome the above issue, follow the given steps:
  • To Uninstall the DSC module, open NI Package Manager and click on the installed tab, as shown.
  • Then, navigate to the DSC module, and click on Remove, as shown. This will remove the module from your system.
  • Once the module is removed, you can reinstall it by visiting this site and downloading it.
  • Once you have downloaded the module's installation software, you can install it again in your system and restart it.
