Missing Vision Assistant Express VI in LabVIEW Palettes

Issue Details

I want to use the Vision Assistant in my LabVIEW code to implement vision processing and analysis algorithms.  However under the Vision Express subpalette, I only see Vision Acquisition Assistant.

Solution

There are a few potential causes of not seeing the Vision Assistant Express VI in the LabVIEW Palettes and so there are a few things to check:
  1. Open NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (NI MAX) to see if NI Vision Development Module (VDM) is listed. 
  2. If VDM is not listed in NI MAX, download VDM and install it. 
  3. If VDM is already installed, force reinstall VDM .
  4. If the version of VDM installed is not compatible with your version of LabVIEW, download and install a version of VDM that is compatible with your version of LabVIEW.
