Sound and Vibration Toolkit: Library That Contains the VI or Item Is Not Properly Licensed

Issue Details

When opening an example for the LabVIEW Sound and Vibration toolkit, I receive an error stating "Library that contains the VI or item is not properly licensed." I have verified that the Sound and Vibration Toolkit is properly activated in NI License Manager. Why is this happening?

Solution

Confirm that the example you are trying to run is part of the Sound and Vibration Toolkit and not the Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite. You can do this by googling the example, finding the example's page in the manual and then noting the host software on the left hand side.

Additional Information

Additionally, if you are using a volume license agreement, there may be a licensing change effecting your activation of the Sound and Vibration Toolkit. Have your software administrator contact agreements@ni.com to request a new license file
