Issue Details

I am developing my vision application in LabVIEW using NI Vision Builder for Automated Inspection (VBAI) API. Whenever I run the VI calling the VBAI's functions, the VBAI engine window will prompt out on screen showing the VBAI inspection details. How do I disable the window?

Solution

To disable the VBAI Engine window from prompting out to your screen when running inspection in LabVIEW, you can wire a False constant to Show VBAI Engine (True) terminal of VBAI Interface - Launch Local VBAI Engine .vi as illustrated below:

Additional Information

By default, Showing VBAI Engine is set to True. Showing the details is useful to debug the inspection status and iteration count. Setting false will enable the engine to run silently as a background application.
